2.2 Electrical characteristics. The scale system shall operate on a nominal 120 volts, 60 hertz, one cycle system. For overseas requirements, the components shall operate on a nominal 220 volts, 50 hertz, one phase power source.
2.3 Data requirements. Instructions and operators manuals shall be furnished for components of the system.
3. QUALITY ASSURANCE
3.1 Certification. The contractor shall certify that the product offered meets the salient characteristics of this description, conforms to the producer’s own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices, and is the same product offered for sale in the commercial marketplace. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance prior to first delivery and thereafter as may be otherwise provided for under provisions of the contract.
4. PACKAGING
4.1 Packaging. The scale system shall be packaged, packed, and marked in accordance with the domestic or overseas requirements of ASTM D 3951, as applicable.
